WE ARE UNABLE TO ACCOMMODATE GUESTS CHECKING IN PRIOR TO 3 pm.
Check-out: No later than 11 a.m. Guests rooms: Are for one or two person occupancy only.
Children: Dunbar House is an intimate, romantic and private haven for adults only.
Privacy: The house and grounds are open to our guests only, ensuring the ultimate in privacy and repose.
Pets: We request no pets.
Smoking: As we are a historic home, smoking is permitted outside in designated areas only.
Cancellations: We guarantee that your booked room will be held exclusively for you.
Your responsibility is payment of all nights of the scheduled reservation.
Written cancellations must be made in the form of an e-mail or standard U.S. Mail.
Cancellations made by telephone or left on answering machine will NOT be accepted.
The $30 non-refundable deposit guarantees that you may cancel at any time up to ten (10) days prior to your arrival. If notice is received WITHIN ten (10) days of your scheduled arrival date, payment will be refunded only if the room is re-rented for each of the reserved nights. If you chose to not purchase Trip Insurance, you will be responsible for all monies due WITHIN the ten (10) day cancellation period.
Reducing the number of days of a stay is considered the same as a cancellation, and you will be subject to the same policy as stated above. The minimum stay requirement will still apply.
Departure before the scheduled departure date will constitute a cancellation, and monies will not be refundable.
Gift Certificates: If you are redeeming a gift certificate and cancel within 10 days of your scheduled arrival date, our cancellation policy of payment being refunded only if the room is re-rented for each of the reserved nights will apply. If your rooms are not re-rented, the GiftCertificate will be used as payment, and will then become void.
